Through this online survey and stakeholder consultations, we want to understand what a queer memorial space could look like to best serve the Melbourne 🌈 LGBTIQA+ community's needs.
By gathering input from community members, groups and key organisations, we hope to assess interest and viability for a potential space within cemeteries that creates a place of reflection, education and connection for queer individuals and their loved ones.
The goal of this project is to understand the community preferences so any future space can truly meet their needs and honor those who have passed.
